Å: Frodig is an abstract interpretation of the river that brings life and nutrition to cities, people and nature. Where the river runs wild the vegetation is usually rich, something the organic pattern’s green hues illustrate. Just like the river the mat is both useful and beautiful.
Å: Frodig is part of the Å collection, which also consists of Å: Midnatt. The mats are designed by Magnus Voll Mathiassen.
The pile is made from 100% recycled plastic with an anti-slip backing in nitrile rubber. The quality is equivalent of an industrial mat, with high absorption capacity.
The production process behind a Heymat involves numerous manual operations. The mats therefore have fewer variations in size, colour and appearance.
Vacuum the mat regularly. The mat can be washed at 60°C in a domestic washing machine.
